EDS HV GROUP RECOGNISED IN TOP 15% WITH DISTINCTION IN PRESTIGIOUS INTERNATIONAL SAFETY AWARD

High voltage engineering specialist, EDS HV Group (EDS), has been awarded an International Safety Award with Distinction from the British Safety Council. The winning submission detailed EDS’s commitment and innovative approach to health and safety, as well as their continuing effort to ensure the wellbeing of all workers, including those who operate in challenging and dynamic offshore environments.
The International Safety Awards, now in their 62nd year are health and safety’s most prestigious award scheme and are only awarded to companies who have demonstrated a commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing within the workplace. The 2020 awards saw a total of 577 applicants across the UK, Africa, Asia and the Middle East, with only 15% achieved the grade distinction.

It is a testament to the dedication of the project management team and the focus of our health and safety team. We are looking forward to celebrating as a team and picking up this award later in the year.”
The award win reflects the continuous efforts from EDS HV to maintain and improve standards in safety and reporting procedures within their operations and workforce, as well as proving their commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
EDS HV will be presented with the award at a ceremony to take place later this year, with the date still to be confirmed due to Coronavirus.
